During the first quarter of this year, Fundación Aldana made our contribution to support the ongoing work of the "Queremos Graduarnos" (We Want to Graduate) program.
We would like to take this opportunity to extend our sincerest congratulations to all the young people who, thanks to the "Queremos Graduarnos" program, will reach their goal of graduating from high school this coming July 15th.
The graduation ceremony will take place next Saturday, July 15th, at 8:00 AM in the former auditorium of the Andrés Bello Catholic University Library. We feel very proud of this achievement and wish you all continued personal growth as you now embark on your university journey. Congratulations!
About Queremos Graduarnos
Queremos Graduarnos" (QG) is an educational program that combats school dropout rates among low-income youth, both male and female, aged 14 to 19. It focuses exclusively on the critical issue of the growing number of young people who leave school to enter into delinquency, experience early pregnancy, or, in the best-case scenario, take on informal and poorly paid employment.
For over twenty years, the program has developed and proven an Intervention, Support, and Subsidy (IAS) system for youth, where every activity reinforces a fundamental value and has been clearly defined, optimizing both costs and efforts.
Currently, the program simultaneously supports and provides subsidies to 630 low-income youth, both male and female, aged 14 to 19, who are completing their final three years of technical high school and living in sixteen (16) neighborhoods in Caracas.
